This live online course explores how this participatory course provides thorough training in questionnaire design.
This course aims to provide participants with a thorough knowledge of questionnaire design. The course will be very broad, with sessions designed to provide hands-on experience in designing questionnaires and survey questions for quantitative social research.
By the end of the course, participants should:
Have a greater awareness of the various aspects involved in writing qualitative survey questions and questionnaires
Be able to develop questions that:
- meet the research objectives;
- take into account the considerations of the analysis;
- take into account the effect of primacy and relevance;
- avoid ambiguous words or concepts;
- avoid writing several questions in one;
- minimize the problems of recall and telescoping errors;
- Have tools for criticizing existing surveys.
